From 4 to 6 August 2011, the London Savoy Hotel will host the 2011 Gold Rush conference organized by the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA). The founders of the committee are Bill Murphy, a former commodity trader, and Chris Powell, editor of a newspaper in Connecticut, USA. GATA was founded in 1999.
GATA aims to educate people about the monetary role of gold and silver and expose those who collaborate to artificially contain the prices of precious metals.
Any young person who invests in precious metals may wonder why people should care that the price of gold and silver is kept artificially low and why gold miners are interested in this? Aren’t they more profitable from the high prices of precious metals? Why would they choose to sell their gold for their future delivery?
Anyone interested in the transparency and reliability of the precious metals market can visit the GATA website. There, on the website, you can book a ticket for participation in the conference “Gold Rush 2011”. Bill Murphy, Chris Powell and other friends of GATA, including GoldMoney founder James Turk, will speak during their speeches about the secret actions being taken to artificially contain gold and silver prices.
