A very important metric in the field of precious metals is the “gold-silver ratio,” which shows the actual relationship between the price of gold and silver. This ratio is currently around 44: 1. This means that, in theory, an ounce of gold can buy 44 ounces of silver. This proportion, however, does not even approach the actual supply and demand of silver.
